Defense Ministry to support fund Israel’s first quantum laptop

The Israeli Innovation Authority and the Protection Ministry will commit somewhere around NIS 200 million to develop Israel’s very first quantum personal computer, the two bodies declare in a joint announcement.
In accordance to the press release, “quantum computational potential will lay the technological basis for an Israeli ecosystem that will lead future developments in safety, economics, technology, engineering and science.”
The Defense Ministry’s Directorate of Defense Investigation and Progress will “establish a nationwide center with quantum capabilities” that will collaborate with academia, field players and all entities in dealing with acquiring a quantum processor.
“Quantum computing is a technological know-how Israeli field are not able to dismiss,” says IAA CEO Dror Bin. “The field should acquire understanding and accessibility to infrastructure in which it can develop progress engines for pursuits in which it will make your mind up to direct.”
